We focus on the prevention of colon cancer by educating patients about steps to reduce risk and screening those who are at risk.
Our practice focuses on management of chronic liver and digestive diseases, including ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s Disease, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), chronic hepatitis C, as well as other diseases and conditions related to the liver and digestive system.
Kaufman is a Lewiston native. Obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Seattle University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She found her true calling in gastroenterology when she accepted a position working in Tri-State Memorial Hospital’s endoscopy suite.
She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University, where she graduated in the top of her class. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. Kaufman worked with a GI practice in Idaho Falls before returning home to work at Lewis Clark Gastroenterology.
Dr. Larsen has over 30 years of experience and served patients in the Lewis-Clark Valley for 23 of those years, most recently as part of Lewis Clark Gastroenterology.
Larsen relocated to Texas with his wife to be near his children and grandchildren but found a desire to return and continue to serve the patients he came to know over the years. He will be a gastroenterologist for one week and play the role of grandfather in Texas for two weeks out of every three. He is a board certified gastroenterologist, a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and a fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology.
